Nigeria continues to
see decline in the number of new COVID-19 cases, as 8 more people tested
postive to the virus Wednesday in 2 states and Federal Capital Territory.
With this, the country's total coronavirus caseload has
reached 167,103, according to Nigeria Centre for Disease Control NCDC.
The day also saw 45 people getting discharged and the tally continued to grow by day. The total number of recoveries so far is 163,528.
The total number of active cases in the country is 1,458.
With no additional COVID-19 related death in the past 24
hours, the deaths toll in the country remained 2,117.
Data released by the health
agency via its verified Facebook page shows that Rivers, FCT and Kwara reported 4, 3 and 1 respectively.
Today's report includes 0 cases from Imo, Kaduna, Kano,
Nasarawa, and Sokoto States NCDC concluded.
