    Nigerian Canadian Association Holds Webinar on Prostate Cancer

    Nigerian Canadian Association (GTA), Toronto, Canada, will to hold  a webinar on prostate cancer on Saturday. Attendance is open.

    With the theme, Health Interactive Session on Prostate Cancer; Causes, signs, cures, Sexual Challenges, effects on marriages, the webinar will start at 4 p.m. Nigerian time and 11 a.m. in Toronto.

    Dr. John S. Kell, the Division Head Urology, Toronto East/Michael Garron Hospital is the guest speaker.

    Mr. Michael Kehinde Abiodun who is the Program Co-ordinator of the Project as well as Board Secretary of the association, said the webinar seeks to provide insights and awareness of  Prostate Cancer.

    “It is  the reality that Prostate Cancer has enveloped the whole world of men especially in the bedroom before, during and after the surgery.   This session will answer all questions.   “Health is wealth”.

    According to Abiodun; “I was diagnosed for Prostate Cancer in 2011 and a Radical Prostatectomy Surgery was done and it would be ten years in October this year that I had the surgery.”

    “Being an identical twin – very Identical, my twin brother Taiye Abiodun relocated to USA three years ago and lo and behold he was diagnosed for Prostate Cancer a year after his arrival, he had to undergo Prostate surgery in 2019”.

    The Chairman of the Board, Pastor Benjamin Allison said the association has a duty to enlighten Nigerian men on how they can manage their health especially in these uncertain times.
