Last month, smartphone maker Infinix unveiled its new
Infinix Note 12 handset. And this time the brand launched another new model in
the Kenyan market called Infinix Note 12i under this series. This new phone
comes with less specification than the Note 12. However, the design of both the
handsets is similar. The Infinix Note 12i has an LCD display, MediaTek Helio
G85 chipset, a 50-megapixel primary camera and a powerful 5,000 mAh battery.
In Kenya, the single 4GB RAM + 128GB storage model of the
Infinix Note 12i is priced at 20,500 Kenyan shillings. The device is available
in three attractive color options, Sunset Golden, Jewel Blue and Force Black.
The Infinix Note 12i has a 6.62-inch IPS LCD display with a
waterdrop notch. This screen offers HD + resolution, 20.5: 9 aspect ratio and
90 Hz refresh rate. The display size of this handset is smaller than the
previous Infinix Note 11i’s 6.95-inch LCD panel.
For performance, the Note 12i uses MediaTek Helio G65
processor. It will have 4 GB RAM, 3 GB virtual RAM and 128 GB built-in storage.
The handset runs on Android 12 based XOS 10.6 (XOS 10.6) custom skin.
The rear camera setup of the Infinix Note 12i includes a
50-megapixel primary camera with f / 1.6 aperture, a 2-megapixel auxiliary
camera, an AI lens and a quad-LED flash unit, have Ultra Night mode, Portrait
mode, Panorama, HDR, PDF and 2K video recording capabilities up to 30 frames
per second (fps).
For selfies and video calls, the phone has an 8-megapixel
camera with dual-LED flash on the front, which supports full-HD video recording
at 30 fps.
Infinix Note 12i has a 5,000 mAh battery that supports fast
charging of 16 watts. For audio files, it will have dual stereo speakers with
DTS audio support. This Infinix handset supports side-mounted fingerprint
scanner as well as Face Unlock feature.
