A Higher National Diploma graduate of Public Administration, Edo State Polytechnic, Usen, Victor Erinsakin, has applauded the Governor of Edo State, Mr Godwin Obaseki, for the accreditation of National Diploma and HND programmes in the Polytechnic.
A statement made available indicated that an MOU signed with a renowned
Polytechnic in China had led to groundbreaking collaborations, adding that it
opened doors to cross-cultural knowledge exchange, student exchange programmes,
and access to cutting-edge technology and expertise.
It read, “I would like to most sincerely appreciate the
Governor of Edo State, Mr Godwin Obaseki, for his transformative leadership
that has led to accreditation of several ND and HND Programmes of the Polytechnic, in which students from those
programmes are now successfully being mobilised for NYSC. This Year 2023 alone,
15 programmes have been accredited in the Polytechnic.”
He mentioned that the ‘Edo Best,’ policy, implemented by the
Commissioner of Education, Edo State, Dr Joan Oviawe, had been instrumental to
the transformation of the state’s education system, thereby, making it one of
the best in Nigeria.
