Among the showcased units, two incorporated tinted glass to
enhance visibility by minimising potential distractions behind the panels,
while the third exhibited complete transparency akin to regular glass,
complemented by a frameless design.
On Samsung’s latest screen, the displayed content takes on a
holographic appearance, seemingly suspended in mid-air. All demonstration units
stood independently, boasting a slim profile of approximately one centimetre,
contributing to the illusion of a floating screen. Furthermore, the high pixel
density of micro LEDs ensured remarkably sharp images. Although Samsung has
released only a single vertical video characterised by an EDM soundtrack, it
offers a glimpse of the captivating visual experience.
Highlighting the advantage of transparent MicroLED displays,
Samsung noted that their superior brightness compared to transparent OLED
panels, making them less susceptible to ambient light interference.
