    Nigerian Students Win 22 Medals At Maths Contest In Bulgaria

    The Nigerian Tulip International Colleges, NTIC, has won 22 medals at the Mathematics without Borders Int’l Tournament held in Bulgaria.

    According to the organizers of the tournament, the Mathematics without Borders Int’l Tournament is an academic mathematics tournament which “aims at promoting the ancient science of Mathematics and composed of four rounds, with the first two rounds being held in the partner schools.”

    Commending the students for the feat, the Managing Director of NTIC, Mr Feyzullah Bilgin said: “From our school branches across Nigeria, 90 students participated simultaneously with 23,248 of their counterparts from 29 countries including: Canada, U.S.A., Bulgaria, Russia, Turkey, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Indonesia, at the end 22 of our students won 6 gold, 4 silver and 12 bronze medals.

    “We specially recognize and commend our students: Abubakar Hafsat (Perfect Scorer), Maryam Idris Bowu (Perfect Scorer), Yunus Hassan Yunus (NTIC Yobe Primary); Luis Lu (NTIC Abuja Boys); Kaosisochukwu Karsten Enebe (NTIC Abuja Co-Ed) and Oghenerukevwe Esemitodje Patrick (Bright Sun College, Lagos Secondary) for winning gold medals in the first round of the competition.”
