The United Kingdom has recently broadened the range of organizations authorized to sponsor workers through its worker and temporary worker immigration pathways.

An update issued on Friday, August 23, revealed that the list now comprises 119,195 approved companies, thereby enhancing opportunities for foreign workers, including those from Nigeria.

Nigerians seeking employment in the UK are advised to visit the websites of these sanctioned companies to find available job openings.

The approved employers represent a variety of sectors, such as technology, commerce, education, media and advertising, and engineering.

The UK government has clarified that a skilled worker visa permits individuals to enter or stay in the UK for a qualifying position with a licensed employer.

This visa category encompasses multiple worker routes, including charity workers, skilled workers, creative workers, global business mobility, and international sportspeople.
