Nollywood icon, Omotola Jalade Ekeinde, responded with humor after a fan mistakenly referred to her by the incorrect name.

The incident occurred when a social media user, Dami Adenuga, shared a video of the renowned actress but addressed her as “Omotola Johnson.”

The video, originally posted by Omotola herself, featured the actress discussing the reasons behind her occasional breaks from Nollywood.

Upon noticing the error, Omotola promptly intervened to clarify the matter.

In a lighthearted response, the actress suggested that she could have simply been referred to by her first name, “Omotola,” which she revealed is actually trademarked.

“Omotola Johnson? Lol… please just call me OMOTOLA. It will suffice. It’s trademarked,” she humorously replied.

The exchange generated online responses, with admirers commending the actress for her courteous management of the situation.

Omotola has starred in more than 300 films, achieving multi-million sales. She is the second Nigerian and the first Nigerian celebrity to surpass 1 million likes on her Facebook page.
