In response to the prevailing economic challenges, RCCG intends to empower its members by facilitating the establishment of small-scale enterprises.
The Redeemers’ Men’s Fellowship (Anchor 2024) has initiated a program aimed at empowering its members to establish small-scale businesses in response to the challenging economic conditions in the country.
During the recent second edition of the fellowship event in Lagos, themed ‘Evidence of His Glory,’ General Secretary Charles Okeibunor shared these plans.
He mentioned that the fellowship intends to support ventures such as dry cleaning and transportation by supplying the necessary resources for members to operate these businesses.
At the event, the convener and Pastor-in-charge of Province 16, The Redeemed Christian Church of God, ‘Biyi Famoyegun, emphasized that for believers to lead fulfilling lives, they must have a strong foundation in four key areas: family, finance, fitness, and faith.
He noted that this initiative would help men fulfill their responsibilities within their families and alleviate the widespread poverty affecting the community.
“About a year ago, God inspired us with a vision to unite men annually to share in His blessings as a collective within the body of Christ. Last year’s inaugural event, themed ‘Still Standing,’ was a remarkable experience, and in keeping with that promise, we continue to stand firm by God’s grace today, despite the challenges we face. This is our second edition, and our four foundational pillars remain family, finance, fitness, and faith,” he stated.
