The Synagogue Church Of All Nations (SCOAN) hosted its inaugural WOMEN OF GRACE (WOG) convention over the weekend at its international headquarters in Egbe-Ikotun. The event was marked by grandeur as women from both local and international communities gathered in large numbers to honor the values of womanhood in Christ Jesus.

Attendees enjoyed a variety of activities, including local dances, career discussions, drama performances, Bible quizzes, and motivational talks centered on the theme of “building a godly home.”

A highlight of the event was a special performance of the song “No Jesus, No Life” by the Women of Grace choir.

Notable speakers included accomplished Christian entrepreneurs such as Mrs. Karen Edwards, Evelyn Adedipe, Mary Paul, Joy Oputeh, and Oyeronke Adebomi, who shared their inspiring stories and insights with the audience.

Pastor Evelyn Joshua, the leader of SCOAN, expressed her joy and appreciation for the launch of the Women of Grace initiative, describing it as a long-held aspiration that has now become a reality.

She emphasized the significance of true womanhood as part of God’s design for humanity, stating that the foundation of the Women of Grace is to cultivate women of honor, integrity, and godly character.

Pastor Joshua also acknowledged her late husband, Prophet TB Joshua, for establishing the foundation of Jesus Christ upon which the church is built.

Referencing Proverbs 31:25, she encouraged the women to adopt grace, strength, dignity, and honor as their guiding principles and thanked them for their dedication to making God’s word the cornerstone of their lives.

Morenike Jegede, the group’s coordinator, highlighted the importance of the Women of Grace in fulfilling God’s purpose for women, noting that the group convenes every Friday for Bible studies and prayers, addressing members' challenges and providing skills acquisition programs.

She indicated that the group is organized into three divisions—Deborah, Esther, and Queen of Sheba—each comprising 15 sub-coordinators.

Jegede further mentioned that the Women of Grace group has evolved into a well-organized entity focused on the revitalization and empowerment of women in service to God.

The event concluded with the awarding of the “Woman of Virtues and Resilience” accolade to Pastor Evelyn Joshua, alongside the empowerment of nine underprivileged women.

Attendees, including Mrs. Olaitan Famakinwa, commended the program, labeling it as “fantastic” and highlighting its role in fostering hope and illuminating a path toward a brighter future.

She unequivocally stated that the inaugural Women of Grace convention has positioned itself as a vital force in enhancing both the spiritual and physical welfare of women, underscoring the essential role of authentic womanhood in the splendor of creation.
