Nollywood veteran Jide Kosoko has been officially designated as the head of the Oteniya branch of the King Kosoko royal family.

The actor announced this significant development on his Instagram account, expressing his appreciation for the honor.

Kosoko shared that he was formally introduced to the Oloriebi in Council on Sunday, which marked the official commencement of his role as the family leader.

Additionally, he has been reaffirmed as the official Ambassador of the King Kosoko family.

In his statement, the esteemed actor sought divine wisdom and guidance to lead the family effectively, stating, “I pray that Almighty God, in His infinite mercy, give me the wisdom to contribute my quota to the unity and progress of the family.”
