Qatar University has announced the commencement of applications for its scholarship program, which is designed for international students seeking to pursue undergraduate degrees.

This initiative offers a robust financial package intended to assist students throughout their academic endeavors.

As reported by Scholarship Region, the Qatar University Scholarship encompasses a full scholarship that includes coverage for tuition and textbook expenses, student accommodation, round-trip airfare, and an annual stipend of QR 6,000.

Eligibility Criteria for the Scholarship

Reports indicate that applicants must fulfill certain criteria to be eligible for the Qatar University Undergraduate Scholarship.

  • Candidates must possess a high school diploma or an equivalent qualification.
  • They should have achieved a minimum high school average of 95%.
  • Final acceptance to the university is required.
  • Applicants must satisfy the admission criteria for their selected college.

The scholarship must be utilized starting from the semester it is granted, although a one-semester deferral may be permitted with committee approval.

If a student does not pass their first semester, the scholarship will be revoked, and they will be informed via their QU email. Additionally, applicants must maintain a good standing and are ineligible to receive this scholarship concurrently with any other sponsorship or scholarship.

Benefits Provided

According to Scholarship Region, the scholarship offers numerous advantages to the selected recipients.

Awardees will benefit from exemptions on tuition and textbook costs, in addition to receiving a monthly stipend of QR 500.

The program also offers housing arrangements for students, accommodating two individuals per room, along with transportation services to and from the campus.

In addition, the scholarship package includes an annual round-trip airfare ticket and a residence permit sponsored by Qatar University.
