The Association of Advertising Agencies of Nigeria (AAAN) has formally inducted eight new member agencies, reinforcing its stature as Nigeria’s premier body for marketing communications and advertising professionals. The induction took place on the third day of the Association’s 52nd Annual General Meeting (AGM) and Congress, held in Ibadan, the capital of Oyo State.

Broadening the Advertising Landscape

The new inductees—Grandeur Limited, Octoplus Marketing Limited, Hephzibah Experiential Limited, Adept Creation Enterprise Limited, Take-Out Media, Flow Universal Solutions Limited, Blue Sky Media Promotion, and Whyfinite Martech Limited—have all met AAAN’s rigorous professional, ethical, and regulatory standards. Their inclusion reflects AAAN’s continued efforts to broaden its reach across Nigeria’s rapidly diversifying advertising ecosystem.

Speaking at the event, AAAN President Lanre Adisa welcomed the new members and urged them to uphold the values of professionalism, collaboration, and integrity that have defined the Association since its inception over five decades ago.

“This induction is not just a ceremony; it is a commitment to shared ideals and a collective responsibility to elevate industry standards,” Adisa stated.

Strategic Growth and Industry Alignment

One of the newly inducted agencies, Whyfinite Martech Limited, expressed enthusiasm about the opportunities that AAAN membership unlocks. Bolaji Junaid, Managing Director and CEO, highlighted the strategic value of joining an association that is both historic and forward-looking.

“We see this as a gateway to deeper industry alignment, collaboration, and the kind of professional development that only a robust body like AAAN can offer,” Junaid told Brand Communicator. “We’re not just joining—we’re showing up to contribute meaningfully to the growth of the industry.”

Whyfinite's remarks echoed a broader sentiment of commitment among the new members to help drive innovation and uphold the Association’s legacy.

A Convergence of Ideas and Direction

Themed “Charting Bold Paths Forward,” the 52nd AGM has brought together a dynamic mix of agency leaders, creatives, regulators, and marketers for robust discussions around key industry issues—ranging from agency remuneration models and technological disruption to regulatory frameworks and inter-agency collaboration.

The gathering also offers a timely moment for reflection and renewal as Nigeria’s advertising industry continues to evolve rapidly under the twin pressures of digital transformation and economic shifts.

A Growing and Evolving Community

With the latest additions, AAAN’s membership now reflects an increasingly diverse range of players—from traditional advertising houses to integrated marketing firms, experiential agencies, digital innovators, and media solution providers. The blend of legacy agencies and emerging firms mirrors the Nigerian advertising sector’s journey toward a more inclusive and collaborative future.

As the AGM concludes, the newly inducted agencies are expected to inject fresh ideas, challenge old paradigms, and contribute actively to shaping the future of marketing communications in Africa’s largest economy.

Through actions like these, AAAN continues to position itself not only as a custodian of industry standards but also as a catalyst for progress in a fast-changing global landscape.
