Galatasaray edged a spirited Samsunspor side in a dramatic 3–2 Super Lig encounter on Friday night, capped by a spectacular stoppage-time bicycle kick from Victor Osimhen that sealed the win for the league leaders.

The champions built an early cushion through an eighth-minute strike from Leroy Sané, who calmly finished after a composed spell of pressure. Galatasaray tightened their grip on the match before the half-hour mark, when Osimhen connected with a clever Sané setup to make it 2–0 and put the hosts firmly in control.

Samsunspor, unwilling to fade quietly, mounted an impressive second-half response. Anthony Musaba halved the deficit in the 56th minute, injecting new life into the visitors’ attack as momentum swung sharply in their favour. Their persistence paid off late on when Emre Kilinç found the equaliser just moments before full-time, sparking celebrations on the away bench.

But the night belonged to Osimhen. Deep into stoppage time, the striker rose acrobatically to meet a looping cross, delivering a stunning overhead finish that snatched all three points for Galatasaray and sent the home crowd into raptures.

The result keeps Galatasaray at the summit of the Super Lig table on 36 points after 15 matches, while Samsunspor remain in fifth place on 25.
