Controversial Nigerian social media influencer and outspoken critic, Martins Vincent Otse, popularly known as VeryDarkMan, has threatened to release what he described as “damaging evidence” against Pastor Chris Okafor of Grace Nation Bible Ministry and Prophet Jeremiah Omoto Fufeyin.

The influencer made the remarks on Sunday afternoon in a video shared on his Instagram page while reacting to the arrest of Nollywood actress Doris Ogala. He demanded her release before Tuesday, December 23, 2025, warning that failure to do so would trigger the public disclosure of alleged criminal evidence involving the two clerics.

VeryDarkMan claimed that Ogala had already transferred all relevant materials to him before her arrest. According to him, the actress was not the principal actor in the controversies she raised but was allegedly manipulated by influential religious figures.

“Doris is not as evil as the pastors that use her to cover atrocity,” he said in the video. He alleged that some pastors exploit women and vulnerable individuals under the guise of religion, adding that Ogala was “used” and acted as an accomplice under pressure and inducement.

He further alleged that Ogala had been promised personal benefits, including the purchase of a car, in exchange for carrying out certain actions on behalf of unnamed church leaders. He claimed that many women have similar stories but remain silent.

VeryDarkMan accused security agencies of attempting to seize evidence allegedly contained on Ogala’s phone, insisting that all such materials were already in his possession. He warned authorities against detaining the actress, stating that he had shared the alleged evidence with multiple individuals as a precautionary measure.

“Everything you think is on her phone is with me,” he said, adding that he had distributed the materials to several people and would erase his own records to prevent interference. He directly mentioned Pastor Chris Okafor and Prophet Jeremiah Fufeyin, threatening to make the allegations public if Ogala was not released by the stated deadline.

Doris Ogala was reportedly arrested on Saturday, December 20, 2025, following her public accusations against Pastor Chris Okafor. The actress had earlier alleged that the cleric failed to fulfil a marriage promise made to her.

In a series of Instagram posts prior to her arrest, Ogala further claimed that she played a role in helping Pastor Chris Okafor and Prophet Jeremiah Fufeyin suppress cases, including that of a reportedly missing child identified as Testimony, as well as other alleged criminal matters.

As of the time of reporting, neither Pastor Chris Okafor nor Prophet Jeremiah Fufeyin has publicly responded to the allegations, and security agencies have not issued an official statement on Ogala’s arrest or the claims made by VeryDarkMan.

The situation continues to generate widespread public attention, highlighting ongoing tensions between social media activism, religious institutions, and law enforcement in Nigeria.
