According to the singer, the strained relationship has caused him emotional distress, with claims that his father has consistently exploited his success rather than supported his growth. Portable suggested that his father’s interest in his life has been largely centred on material gain, adding that his own life felt more stable and organised when his father was not closely involved.
In a particularly troubling comparison, Portable likened his experience to that of the late singer Mohbad, alleging that his father’s fixation on his property and possessions raised serious concerns. He stated that he would not allow himself to suffer a similar fate, insisting on drawing clear boundaries.
The artist further questioned his father’s role in his upbringing, accusing him of being absent during critical moments. He claimed that his father failed to support him during encounters with law enforcement and played no part in his education or personal development.
Portable also recounted how his request to learn tailoring—a skill he hoped would help him build a livelihood—was allegedly dismissed, forcing him to fend for himself without parental assistance.
Beyond emotional grievances, the singer accused his father of financial impropriety during a house construction project. He claimed that after entrusting his father with supervising the build, he later discovered inflated costs for materials, alleging that he was repeatedly overcharged.
