Renowned gospel singer Tope Alabi has announced the arrival of her first grandchild, bringing a new season of joy to her family. The child was welcomed by her daughter, Ayomikun Alabi, and son-in-law, Oluwole Bantale.

Sharing the news via Instagram, Alabi expressed deep gratitude to God, describing the birth as a long-awaited and joyful milestone. She noted that the addition has filled her heart with overwhelming happiness, calling it a dream come true.

The singer also paid glowing tribute to her daughter, praising her growth and strength as a woman and a new mother. Alabi said she is immensely proud of Ayomikun and excited to watch her step confidently into motherhood.

In an emotional message, the gospel minister revealed how much she had anticipated becoming a grandmother, adding that holding her grandchild is an experience she has long imagined. She described her new role as one she already cherishes deeply, calling it her “new favourite.”

The birth comes shortly after Ayomikun’s private wedding to Oluwole Bantale, an intimate ceremony that drew notable personalities, including popular Nollywood actress Funke Akindele.

With the arrival of her grandchild, Tope Alabi joins the growing list of Nigerian celebrities embracing grandparenthood, marking the moment as a personal and family milestone worth celebrating.
