The identity of social media critic VeryDarkMan’s girlfriend has finally been revealed, putting an end to weeks of speculation surrounding his rumored relationship with content creator Jojo of Lele.

VeryDarkMan shared photos of himself with the woman across his social media platforms, announcing both her presence in his life and a temporary break from the online world. Accompanying the images, he wrote with a heart emoji: “She’s here, bye Internet for now.”

The announcement comes amid lingering public interest in his past interactions with Jojo of Lele. Almost a year ago, Jojo had referred to VeryDarkMan as her husband, sparking rumors of a romantic connection. Their past was further complicated in February 2025 when VeryDarkMan publicly mentioned Jojo among women allegedly involved with media personality Nedu Wazobia in exchange for features on his platform. Jojo denied the claim, telling the public, “I have never had anything to do with Nedu.”


Despite the controversy, the two reportedly met for dinner in Abuja, where Jojo expressed her affection for the critic. “I’m in love with VDM,” she said days after the meeting, confirming the strength of their bond at the time.
