Odigie, who married Tola Odunsi in an intimate civil ceremony in February 2025, shared the news on her Instagram page on Monday. She described becoming a mother as “the most important thing” she has ever done.
“Hey, guys. I know it’s been a minute. I’ve been busy with life, but mostly with doing the most important thing I have ever done in my life… Being a mom,” Odigie wrote.
She revealed that she welcomed her son a few months ago and has been fully focused on him, calling him “the center of my universe” and sharing that she is “loving every moment. Well, most of it.” Signing off as “Iya A,” she promised her followers that she will return to the public space soon, adding, “Anyways, I promise to come out of hibernation soon. In the meantime, I’m sending all my Love.”
