Singer David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido, has opened up about how his life has changed since marrying long-term partner Chioma Adeleke, revealing that family time now takes precedence over nightlife and leisure.

Speaking on a recent episode of The Long Form podcast, the music star explained that the freedom, wealth, and fame he experienced at a young age once led him to a very party-driven lifestyle. “Blowing up at a young age with freedom, power and money, I used to be very reckless. I used to go to the club every day,” he said.

Today, however, Davido says his approach to leisure is very different. “These days, I don’t even go to the clubs. I was in Nigeria for almost two months and I didn’t go out. I was just at home and I was having fun. I was just chilling in my studio, inviting people to make barbecue for me. And before you know it, it’s 3 am or 4:30 am. I just go home, call my wife, sleep off on FaceTime,” he shared.

While Davido still attends gigs and accepts party invitations from close friends, he emphasized that his priorities have shifted toward rest and spending quality time with family. The singer described the change as a natural evolution, reflecting a more grounded and balanced lifestyle since settling into marriage.

“Now it’s more about sleep and family time than going out for fun,” he concluded, highlighting the role marriage has played in shaping his personal and daily choices.
