Acron Aviation has secured a multi-year contract extension with Arik Air to provide full flight simulator (FFS) training for the airline’s B737NG pilots, the companies announced on Wednesday.

Under the agreement, which runs until 2029, all B737NG FFS training requirements for Arik Air will be exclusively delivered by Acron Aviation, leveraging its global training network, including the London Training Centre. Full flight simulator training allows pilots to practice real-world flying conditions in a highly advanced simulator, ensuring operational safety and proficiency.

“The contract extension ensures Arik Air’s flight crews receive consistent, high-quality simulator training delivered to the highest international standards, with operational continuity, optimized scheduling, and access to experienced instructors and modern, reliable training facilities,” the airline said in a statement.

Patrick Davis, vice-president and general manager for airline training at Acron Aviation, described the agreement as a reflection of the airline’s confidence in the company’s training solutions, personnel, and facilities. “We are proud to continue supporting Arik Air’s operations and look forward to strengthening our partnership over the next three years,” he said.

The extension also underscores Acron Aviation’s continued investment in advanced training technologies and its commitment to fostering long-term partnerships with airlines across the globe.
