Maureen Ifada Joins Global Jury for 2026 Native Advertising Awards, Cementing Her Influence in Marketing Leadership
FrieslandCampina WAMCO’s Marketing Director, Maureen Ifada, has been named as a jury member for the 2026 edition of the Native Advertising Awards, a move that highlights her growing prominence in international marketing and brand communications.
Organised by the Native Advertising Institute, the awards celebrate innovation and excellence in branded content, storytelling, and digital advertising worldwide. Ifada will join a panel of senior marketing and media leaders tasked with evaluating submissions from global brands, agencies, and publishers at the forefront of creative audience engagement.
Her selection adds to a string of high-profile global judging roles that have positioned her among Africa’s most respected marketing figures. In recent years, she has served as a judge for the International Content Marketers Award and the SABRE Awards EMEA—platforms that honour outstanding achievements in marketing, public relations, and brand storytelling.
With more than 20 years of experience in marketing and sales within the fast-moving consumer goods sector, Ifada has been instrumental in shaping the strategies behind some of Nigeria’s most iconic dairy brands, including Peak Milk and Three Crowns Milk. She joined FrieslandCampina WAMCO in 2003 as a management trainee and rose through the ranks to join the company’s management team in 2024, now leading marketing strategy across the business.
Her track record includes landmark campaigns such as the “Healthy Mums, Happy Families” initiative for Three Crowns Milk, which successfully repositioned the brand and strengthened its relevance in Nigeria’s competitive dairy market.
Ifada’s work has earned her several accolades, including Marketing Director of the Year at the 2025 Brand Handlers Awards and the Outstanding Marketing Amazon of the Year at the Marketing Edge Awards. She has also been recognised among the Top 50 Most Influential Women in Marketing and Communications in Nigeria by WIMCA, underscoring her impact on the country’s marketing landscape.
Beyond corporate achievements, Ifada is widely regarded as a thought leader, advocating for innovation, mentorship, and industry development across Nigeria and Africa.
Her appointment to the 2026 Native Advertising Awards jury not only underscores her individual accomplishments but also reflects the increasing global acknowledgment of African marketing expertise in shaping the future of brand communication.
