During a visit to JSS Durumi II, Dikeh provided the student with new school supplies, including bags and sandals, and guaranteed financial assistance for the remainder of his junior secondary education.
She also extended her support to the boy’s father, a widower raising three children alone, by providing ₦1,000,000 to start a small business. The gesture aims to help the family achieve stability and self-sufficiency.
“Last week, during our evangelism outreach in junior secondary school Durumi II, a promise was made to support a young boy’s education from JSS1 all the way to the university. By God’s grace, my team and I returned to JSS Durumi II on Monday to fulfil that promise,” Dikeh wrote.
“We visited his school, met with his father, and provided him with new school bags, sandals, etc., and also extended support to a few other students. Most importantly, I made the financial provision needed for him to continue his education without interruption throughout his junior secondary education.”
In addition to directly supporting the family, Dikeh donated 10 laptops to the school to enhance digital learning for students, highlighting the importance of practical action in her philanthropic work.
“We are not stopping there; we have just ordered 10 laptops for the school to enable them to teach & enhance their students digitally. This is what the Gospel looks like, not just words, but action,” she added.
The actress has gained recognition for her charitable initiatives, including a recent announcement offering free JAMB registration for 1,000 students in select Nigerian cities, further cementing her reputation as an advocate for youth education and empowerment.
