Will Smith's Angola Westbrook Racing surged to victory today at the Adriatic Luxury Hotels E1 Dubrovnik GP 2026 to extend its lead in the Championship and deliver back-to-back GP victories.
NBA stars LeBron James and Kyle Kuzma, alongside tennis legend Rafael Nadal, were on the Dalmatian Coast to witness Westbrook's pilots Lucas Ordóñez and Sara Price overpower the competition to record their win.
Team Brady’s second place helps them keep in touch with Westbrook in the title race while Team AlUla Championed by LeBron James rounded out the third step of the podium. The result extends Westbrook's lead at the top of the standings to 12 points.
High winds created tough racing conditions that tested the pilots' skill and strategy, but this did not deter Westbrook continuing their form from Friday's qualifying. The team dominated their group stage to progress straight to the Finals.
It was a different story for Team Drogba Global Africa in the group stages. Despite New Zealand pilot Micah Wilkinson topping his group stage race, a disqualification for dangerous driving by teammate Tara Pacheco - a four-time Spanish Olympian and world champion sailor - resulted in the team missing out on a place in the Finals.
Title rivals Team Brady replicated Westbrook's success as pilots Emma Kimiläinen and Sam Coleman both topped their group stage races to earn a place in the Finals and keep the pressure on.
Team Rafa triumphed in a tense Race Off, with AlUla and Team Monaco also advancing to the Finals.
Brady was the fastest team in Final 1 following a commanding drive from Emma - the Finn beat Westbrook's E1 RaceBird to the first corner and capitalised on the excellent start.
Final 2 was disrupted after the nose of Timmy Hansen's Team Miami boat became detached as a result of a high-impact collision with a significant wave that saw the red flags come out and the team out of the race. Once racing resumed, Westbrook's Lucas Ordóñez found extra speed to take the chequered flag and overall victory.
French pilot Tom Chiappe was named PIF Pilot of the Day for steering Team Rafa to the Finals despite a tough overall weekend.
Speaking after the race, Westbrook's Spanish pilot Lucas Ordóñez said: "This weekend has been incredibly special. We've triumphed in difficult conditions and proved our fight and resilience as a team. Will has backed us all the way so it's amazing to pay back that trust."
American teammate Sara Price added: "It feels like we're building something amazing at Westbrook and things are really coming together. To post back-to-back wins is incredible - we believe we can keep this momentum going and challenge for the Championship title."
Westbrook team owner and Hollywood legend Will Smith celebrated in the team owner WhatsApp group, posting: "YES! Finally ahead of you, Brady."
Tom Brady, the NFL icon and owner of reigning champions Team Brady, hit back: "We'll see you at the next race."
Jamie Copas, Chief Executive Officer, E1, said: "Congratulations to Will Smith and everyone at Angola Westbrook Racing on a fantastic victory here in Dubrovnik. This has been an extraordinary weekend of racing in one of the world's great coastal cities, and today's final delivered everything E1 stands for - fierce competition, gifted pilots, and the most spectacular setting in motorsport.
"The 2026 Championship is shaping up to be one of the most compelling seasons we have seen. We head to Monaco next month with the standings far from settled and every point between now and the finale will matter."
