Tuesday’s case count is a slight increase from the
previous day where daily case was 444.
It has now reported a total of 175,264 coronavirus cases since the pandemic began, according to the data by the health officials.
Additionally, eighty-five patients recovered and discharged within 24 hours period, which brings the total recoveries to 165,122 across the country.
The country’s active caseload now stands at 7,969 while in
the last 24 hours, active cases increased by 417.
Meanwhile, three more patients succumbed to the infection in
the last 24 hours, as the nationwide death toll stands 2,163.
According to the breakdown released by the health officials,
Lagos, Rivers, Oyo, Ondo and Cross River recorded the highest number of
COVID-19 infections with 273, 83, 45, 22, and 18 cases respectively.
Others include Kaduna-13, Ogun-10, Gombe-10, FCT-8, Ekiti-7,
Delta-6, Bayelsa-3, Edo-2 and Niger-1.
While Plateau , Sokoto , Nasarawa and Osun reported zero cases.
