Veteran Actor, Adewale Adeyemo is Dead

Veteran actor known in Yoruba movie circles, Prince Adewale Adeyemo, is dead.

This is coming while the movie industry is still mourning the death of their colleagues, Saint Obi and Murphy Afolabi, the latter whose death occurred penultimate Sunday in Lagos.

Adeyemo is said to have battled different ailments since 2021 and was said to have gotten the attention of billionaire businessman, Otunba Mike Adenuga, who bankrolled the surgery that the actor underwent.

He later succumbed to the cold hands of death on Monday morning.

Baba Igbomina, as he was fondly called because of his roots in Kwara State, had been in the movie industry for more than three decades. He was known for his humorous character.

Last Sunday, May 14, we reported that the death of another popular actor, Murphy Afolabi.

His death came barely 24 hours after reports of the death of Nollywood actor Obinna Nwafor, famously known as Saint Obi, went viral.

On Monday, the death of another actor, Chikezie Uwazie was announced, who reportedly died in the United States of America a few days after he went through a second brain surgery.

Many Nollywood actors, including Yinka Quadri, Fathia Williams, Kemi Korede, Itele, and others, have expressed their condolences on social media.
