Asake Unveils First Project of 2024 'Only Me'

Afrobeats singer Ahmed Ololade, popularly known as Asake, has released his first single of 2024 dubbed ‘Only Me’.

Only Me, which he released on his birthday, signifies his journey to self-acceptance and contentment without the need for comparison to others. The track holds a significant meaning for the ‘Mr Money’ crooner.

He said: “I honour the journey I’ve been on and the journey yet to come. Happy birthday to a resilient soul.”

The act received his first-ever Grammy nomination for his song ‘Lonely At The Top.’ The track is currently nominated in the Best African Music Performance category at the upcoming Grammy Awards, scheduled for February.
