In a social media statement on Wednesday, Pastor Eze prayed against the perpetrators and their sponsors, declaring:
“About time, God of judgement spares no enemy of Nigeria and their sponsors in Jesus’ name. Enough is enough of this banditry, terrorism, and wickedness.”
Similarly, Nathaniel Bassey emphasized the urgent need for accountability and decisive action, urging the government, armed forces, intelligence agencies, and citizens to unite against criminal elements. He affirmed:
“Peace shall reign in Nigeria. Nigeria shall prosper and fulfil her destiny in Jesus’ name. Amen.”
Their call comes in the wake of recent violent incidents, including an attack on a Christ Apostolic Church parish in Eruku, Kwara State, where suspected bandits killed at least two people, and the abduction of 25 students from Government Girls’ Comprehensive Secondary School in Maga, Kebbi State, which also resulted in the death of a staff member.
The attacks have sparked widespread condemnation, with other public figures in the entertainment industry, including actors and comedians, joining the call for urgent government intervention to restore security.
