Reality TV star and actress Liquorose recently gave fans an intimate glimpse into her personal life, sharing the origins of her iconic stage name, her family bonds, and her future aspirations during an interview on the Off the Top podcast with VJ Adams.

The 30-year-old star revealed that her now-famous moniker was a deliberate and meaningful choice. “I picked Liquorose December 31st, 2012. I like liquor and my name is Rosaline as well. I am a very shy person. My mum says in her language, ‘Alcohol is never shy,’” she explained, highlighting the playful yet personal reasoning behind the name.

Despite her public persona, Liquorose admitted that her hectic schedule often keeps her away from home, leaving her nostalgic for family moments. “I don’t go home often, it’s bad. I miss my home, I miss my bed. We are very close in my family; we know how to make each other laugh. We have stories we tell each other. I miss that. The last time I was in the hood was last year because I do this charity stuff every December. That was the last time and it’s bad,” she said.

The conversation also offered surprising insights into her long-term dreams, particularly regarding family life. With a candid smile, she disclosed her desire to have a large family, stating, “I want nine kids.”

Liquorose also reflected on how her views on marriage have evolved over the years. “Growing up, I used to be that girl who could get married, and nobody would know,” she recalled. Today, however, she envisions a more celebratory approach. “At one point, I thought… I want a two-week wedding. I want something loud because it’s going to be a lot. Liquorose is taken! Officially. I have to do that,” she revealed, offering fans a glimpse of the future she dreams of.

Her openness about her personal journey, from stage name to family aspirations, underscores the balance she strives for between a public life in the spotlight and the private joys of home and loved ones.
