Google Upgrades Circle to Search with Multi-Object Recognition
Google is rolling out a major upgrade to its Circle to Search AI feature, enabling users to search for multiple objects simultaneously within a single image — a significant leap from its earlier single-item recognition capability.
The enhancement was unveiled at Samsung Galaxy Unpacked 2026 and will debut on the newly launched Samsung Galaxy S26 series, including the Galaxy S26 Ultra, S26+, and S26. It will also be available on Google’s upcoming Pixel 10 lineup, comprising the Pixel 10, Pixel 10 Pro, Pixel 10 Pro XL, and Pixel 10 Pro Fold.
With the update, users can circle multiple elements in an image — such as an entire outfit — and Circle to Search will identify and return results for each item at once. Previously, searches were limited to one object at a time.
Google says the improvement is powered by the enhanced reasoning and planning capabilities of its latest AI models, enabling more contextual understanding within images.
The updated feature also introduces virtual try-on functionality directly inside Circle to Search, allowing users to preview how items like clothing might look on them without switching apps.
Following its initial rollout on Galaxy S26 and Pixel 10 devices, Google plans to expand the feature to additional Android smartphones in the coming months, further integrating advanced AI search capabilities into the broader Android ecosystem.
