With the fresh cases,
the country's overall tally has mounted to 212,150, according to the data
released by the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control NCDC via its website on Wednesday morning.
The top three states
which have registered the maximum number of COVID-19 cases on Tuesday are Bauchi-24,
Plateau-24 and FCT-22.
Others include Lagos-9,
Taraba-8, Kaduna-4, Edo-3, Kano-3, Bayelsa-1 and Rivers-1.
Besides, one more person succumbed to the infection across the country in the last 24 hours, pushing the death toll to 2,899.
As many as 186 people
infected with coronavirus have been cured and discharged so far, with
203,651 patients being recovered during the last 24
hours.
With fresh cases, the
active COVID-19 cases in the country declined by 88 and now stands at 5,600.
The health officials stated that today’s report includes zero cases reported from Delta, Sokoto, and Zamfara.
