In a series of Instagram stories on Thursday, the afrobeats
singer shared her struggle over the past two to three years, noting that
reading has become increasingly difficult due to blurry vision.
After consulting with an optician in London, she learned
that her long-range vision is somewhat acceptable, but her short-range vision
is problematic.
Tiwa Savage disclosed that she obtained a pair of
recommended glasses to deal with the problem.
She said: “Guys the last two or three years, I have been
noticing that I will be squinting sometimes and when I read some stuff, it
would be getting blurry.
“And in the last few months, I noticed it got really bad
that sometimes I will have to screen grab a message and then go back into my
camera and zoom. So when I was in London, I said let me go and see the
optician.
“So my long sight is okay for now, he said, not great; but
my short sight (shakes her head). Literally, I will be in a restaurant and I
won’t be able to read the menu.
“But for now, your girl is back and you know I needed to
make some luxury and got myself a cartel pair because ABG don’t play. Do I
still look sexy?”.
Recently, the music diva invested N1.7 billion in a
luxurious residence situated in the heart of London.
Sharing glimpses of her stunning new home on Instagram, she
joyfully announced securing her first property key in the country.
Tundeednut, a well-known blogger and close friend of the
singer, disclosed that Tiwa made this significant purchase, marking her as a
London homeowner as the year draws to a close.
The house, showcased on social media, features a fully
equipped gym, elegantly furnished living spaces, and even a cinema room.
Tundeednut’s repost of Tiwa‘s announcement caused quite a
stir online, with him confirming the substantial amount—N1.7 billion—that she
spent to acquire this exquisite space.
Meanwhile, Tiwa Savage’s film debut “Water and Garri,” will
be available on Amazon Prime Video.
