Cynthia Morgan, now known as Madrina, has shared a recent experience where she was discouraged from publicizing a generous gift from Olamide, who gave her N1 million.
The 32-year-old singer disclosed how a person advised her
not to reveal the gift, deeming it insignificant.
Madrina revealed that she stopped talking to the guy
immediately following his statement because she didn’t understand why he would
say such.
She added that though she wanted to keep Olamide’s gesture
private, his statement made her do otherwise, noting how the same N1 million
was what her former label loaned and still insulted her.
She wrote: “Told someone Olamide sent me a million naira
some months ago and the guy said I shouldn’t put it out there because the money
is too small. Had to stop talking to that guy because I didn’t understand.
Although it was never my intention to put it out here, that statement almost
made me post it immediately. 1 million naira wey my own tr!bes man loan me
insult me join. Abeg. Olamide thank you”.
