Game mods allow players to show of unfettered creativity
using the games they love. One famous Cyberpunk 2077 mod allowed players to
play the game with a distinct Borderlands style look.

Creative players looking to create their own mods need to
download the tools from the official Cyberpunk 2077 support site. Clearly, the releases of mod
tools don’t make up for the botched game release.
Cyberpunk 2077 currently faces several challenges beyond
making mods easier for its fans. However, it’s a good step in the right
direction for the developers. Unfortunately, CDPR has a lot of ground to cover
before they’re on the positive side again.
We can at least all expect more amazing mods to become available
in the following months.

CD Projekt Red put themselves in an extremely difficult
position given the many mishaps of the game’s release. To their credit, they’re
making the best out of a really bad situation. CD Projekt Red shared a wider
roadmap earlier this month detailing their plans for the year. The announcement
didn’t include the release of the official mod tools so it’s just a welcome
bonus.
Cyberpunk players hoping for better game conditions are in
luck. CDPR promises patches and free DLCs for the game throughout 2021.
Hopefully, the promised “free next-gen console update” at least makes the PS4
and Xbox One version playable.
CDProjekt Red undoubtedly has a lot to answer for given
their overpromised dreams of a seamless game. However, their honest attempts at
working towards rectifying the game just may help them reclaim a lot of the
public stock they squandered through Cyberpunk’s release.
