Fourth edition introduces new categories, offers early bird discount, and celebrates marketing excellence under the theme "Driving Impact, Inspiring Change"
Preparations are in full swing for the 2025 edition of the Nigerian Marketing Awards® (NMA), the nation’s most prestigious platform for recognizing innovation, performance, and impact across the marketing sector. Now in its fourth year, the awards will return on Saturday, November 15, 2025, at the glamorous Jewel Aeida in Lekki, Lagos.
Organisers have announced that entries will officially open on Friday, August 15, and will close on Tuesday, September 30, 2025. As part of efforts to encourage early submissions, a 15% early bird discount will be available for entries submitted on or before Friday, September 5, 2025.
Celebrating Marketing Excellence
Themed "Driving Impact, Inspiring Change," the 2025 edition seeks to spotlight the best marketing work done within the eligibility window — August 15, 2024, to August 14, 2025. As with previous editions, the awards are open to a wide range of participants, including brands, marketing agencies, fintechs, media houses, out-of-home firms, and individual professionals working across Nigeria's diverse marketing ecosystem.
This year’s ceremony builds on the momentum of previous editions, continuing its tradition of highlighting creative excellence, strategic innovation, and measurable results in the marketing industry.
New Categories for 2025
In response to emerging trends and growing sectors, the NMA has introduced six new categories:
- Best Use of AI in Marketing
- Best Spice Brand
- Best Sustainability Marketing
- Fintech Company of the Year
- Airline of the Year
- Media Agency of the Year
These additions bring fresh opportunities for a broader set of industry players to gain recognition for their efforts in innovation, consumer engagement, and sectoral leadership.

Submitting an entry is simple. Interested individuals and organisations can visit the official website at www.nma-ng.com to access submission guidelines, category descriptions, and the online entry form. A QR code is also available for direct access. Entrants are encouraged to ensure their materials are well-prepared, data-backed, and clearly demonstrate creativity and impact.
Judging and Selection
All submissions will be reviewed by the Awards Decision Council, a jury of highly respected marketing experts and professionals. Entries will be assessed based on five key metrics:
- Creativity
- Innovation
- Impact
- Strategy
- Results
Winners will be revealed at the grand awards night — a celebration that promises to be a highlight of Nigeria’s corporate calendar.
