He made this disclosure in his office in Port Harcourt,
Rivers State on Tuesday, August 31, 2021 while receiving the Comptroller of
Rivers Marine Command, Nigeria Immigration Service, Comptroller Helen
Onwuzulike, who paid him a Courtesy Visit.
Naibi stated that, with adequate information sharing, the
task of law enforcement would become easier and error- free. " We are all
working for Nigeria. Lack of proper understanding and synergy among law
enforcement agencies can cause problems. The more we develop, the more we will
realise that we need to work together", he said. He commended the founding
fathers of the EFCC for inclusion of different law enforcement agencies,
including the Immigration Service, on the board of the Commission. " The
founding fathers of the EFCC knew what they were doing when they put the
Immigration Service on the board of the EFCC", he said.
Earlier in her speech, Onwuzulike explained that law
enforcement agencies would always meet at some points but collaborative
engagements with one another would grant them access and success. " Inter-
agency relationship is vital. Our jobs meet and we need synergy to succeed in
our works. Nigeria is all we have. We will always meet at some points",
she said. She also expressed appreciation to Naibi and his team for according
her warm reception.
