A Strategic Step Toward SME Digitalisation
Speaking on the launch of the programme, Osita Ede, Divisional Head of Product Development at Fidelity Bank Plc, emphasized the bank’s commitment to enabling business transformation through technology.
“Studies have shown the exponential growth SMEs can achieve through digitalisation,” he noted.
“As Nigeria’s leading SME partner, we are walking the talk by providing free digital toolkits to our customers. This aligns with our mission to help individuals grow, businesses thrive, and economies prosper.”
Supporting SMEs Beyond Tools
This latest initiative builds on Fidelity Bank’s broader vision of promoting economic inclusivity and creating a resilient business ecosystem across Nigeria. In celebration of World SME Day 2025, the bank recently granted free access to its SME Hub in Gbagada, Lagos, providing business owners with networking opportunities, expert guidance, and access to financial advisory services.
A special mentoring session for female entrepreneurs—led by the bank’s CEO, Mrs. Nneka Onyeali-Ikpe—also formed part of the celebrations, reinforcing the bank’s focus on empowering women in business.
In addition to the FSEP, Fidelity Bank regularly hosts masterclasses, training sessions, and financing opportunities tailored to small businesses and creative entrepreneurs.
