Afrobeats star, Tiwa Savage has revealed what inspired her to become a musician.
Despite initially aspiring to pursue acting, she revealed
during a recent interview with MTV Live that a crush influenced her decision to
delve into music.
Tiwa disclosed this revelation while discussing her latest
movie, “Water and Garri,” which marks her debut in Nollywood.
The film, titled ‘Water and Garri,’ is said to be shown on
released on Amazon Prime Video.
The movie was produced by Everything Savage and Unbound
Studios.
According to Tiwa, acting was her first love before music
but she entered into the music industry because she wanted to be close to her
crush.
She said; “I’ve always wanted to do acting. Acting was one
of my first love before music. I got into music because I had a crush on a guy
and he was always around the musician so I said ‘yeah, forget acting and just
go into music.’”
